This past summer, Perennial Paradise took on a new look. We expanded our growing perennial stock and for the spring of 2012 we will have many new varieties of perennials. In addition to the perennials we will be making some changes to the garden center site. We are always open to suggestions and are trying to make your experience a good one. We encourage you to come out and share your knowledge of perennials. We are especially interested in finding old fashion perennials that are not found in most greenhouses. The selection of perennials in Zone 3 are in abundance, and we are always looking for new introductions. We encourage you to come out and browse, we are open to suggestions to how we can provide you a better experience.
We are discussing several new projects that may become reality this spring. In addition to the projects we are looking for individuals that are knowledgeable in perennials that would enjoy giving seminars and or classes to the public. We are also looking for individuals that build birdhouses, sculptures, benches and tables and or projects that enhance gardens. If you have any ideas please call Dave (218) 766-3568 and lets discuss it.
Along center changes we are needing some things. If you are interested in parting with any of these give me a call.
1. Kids wagons
2. Used wheel chairs
3. Plant pots – all sizes ( we recycle them)
It has always been my dream to make Perennial Paradise a dream place or like a very beautiful park and it is becoming that way. It is fun to see peoples first reaction when they walk under the arbor that says “Perennial Paradise”. The comments are “Oh my” or ”WoW”, It’s so beautiful!, thats what we like to hear. And this year we want to make it a bigger, ”WOW”!
We hope to be open the 2nd or 3rd weekend in May depending on the weather. We look forward to seeing you!

Hi Dave!
I just found your website when I ‘googled’ for ideas on landscaping in shade. CONGRATULATIONS on your garden center!! The photos are gorgeous! I wish we lived closer so I could stop by and see it in person! Hopefully sometime in the near future when we’re in the area we’ll look you up and get some advice! Love your video!
